Q: Can I export my patches to another device that runs Mainstage 3?

I'm at the point that I must buy another computer to expand what I do at church. My current Macbook Pro has Mainstage 3, with custom patches that I've built over the past 6 months. I'm considering buying a new Mac just to run Mainstage 3 on while on platform, but I don't want to lose all of my current concerts and patches. Is there a way to accomplish this? On another note, I'm assuming that I'll have to buy another Mainstage 3 program for the new device, but is there a possibility of using my Mainstage 3 purchase on multiple devices, or do I need to purchase the app for each device? Thanks in advance for your guidance!!

MacBook Pro, OS X Yosemite (10.10.3)

Yes, if you sign in on the new Mac with your Apple ID that was used to purchase MainStage, you can install on multiple machines.

You can save patches by clicking the utility icon in the patch list window (gear with downward arrow) and selecting Save As Patch.  You can then move this file to your new machine.  If the patch includes any third-party instruments, those will need to be installed on the new machine as well, obviously.

You could also save your Concert file to an external drive and move that file to the new machine.  That might be faster if you have all of the patches saved in one place.  I know some church musicians just have a concert file that is more like a library of patches than a single service set.
