Hi all,
I got a replacement watch from Apple and I cannot for the life of me get the 24 hour clock to display on any face.
All updates made, turned on and off both phone and watch, changed setting to off and on again. No luck.
Location settings all good.
Anyone encounter this?

Changing the 24-Hour Time setting for the paired iPhone does not also change that setting for the watch.

On your iPhone, in the Watch app, go to: My Watch (tab) > Clock - turn on the setting for 24-Hour Time.
It may help to unpair and re-pair your watch.
The Watch app on your iPhone takes a backup of your watch when unpairing via the app. Choose either to Restore from Backup during set up (perhaps try this first) or to set up as a new watch. If restoring from backup, most data and settings will be retained, with some exceptions (eg Apple Pay cards, passcode).
You did not specify which setting. 🙂
I provided the steps in case you had been changing the setting for your iPhone, in the expectation that it would also change the setting on your watch (it does not).
More generally speaking, I don't know others but definitely in my case, sometimes what I miss is the smallest thing, that's why I ask here before banging my head, as there might be (and usually is) that subtle setting that for some reason should have changed but it's not. Apple devices except for Macs were really simple back then, as in iOS you had a few toggles.
As anything, simple to use and difficult to master.

Yeah I stopped listening to you after your first "suggestion".
I knew unpairing would be an option, same as restoring a phone, but it was the last I wanted to take.
Spoke to support, after and over extended conversation in which the support technician was taking 1-2 minutes to reply to each message I ended up leaving the conversation as it was going no where fast.
In the end I just unpaired and re-paired.
That worked.

Because, for some settings, that can either be one of the ways or the only way to also change that setting on your watch - and you might (reasonably) have assumed that this was among them.
Perhaps the best example is the other Date & Time setting for iPhone. On the very same screen that includes the 24-Hour Time option for iPhone, there is also an option to change the time on your iPhone. Changing the time here also changes the time on Apple Watch.
