Q: Left my phone on an airplane

I recently left my phone on an airplane.  Find my iphone is on but the phone is in airplane mode. Anyway of disabling the airplane mode or tracking the phone? Put an alert to delta to continue to search for it but so far nothing. Brand new iphone 6s and can't afford to buy another phone new cell phone plans are a rip off.

iPhone 6s, iOS 9.3.2

You cannot remotely disable airplane mode.

You will not be able to locate, wipe, or anything else until/unless airplane mode is turned off.

    Sorry

As roaminggnome says, you cannot track it while in Airplane Mode. The good news is, if someone took your phone, and they try to activate it, they will not be able to because it is protected by Activation Lock. If they do restore your phone, they will have to connect to Wi-Fi during the setup (which they will not be able to complete due to Activation Lock), and then you should get notified if you clicked the "Notify Me" checkbox in Find my iPhone.
