It's been a long time since I've ever used a printer (can't afford one), but from my best recollection, you can either type whatever document or item you're printing off in a larger font OR when you're at the Print Options dialog box, you can choose to print the document at larger than 100%.

choose a larger font size in your document

if your document is in a browser you will need to use the font tool native to the browser (on Safari it's CMD and "+")

if the document is in some other format the resize would be the point size chosen for the font

increasing the print size larger than the size of the screen will enlarge all elements on the page, including graphics and may cause text to flow across multiple printed pages instead of preserving formats.
