Pop up messages asking for my keychain password

Lately I have been getting messages on my home screen asking my to enter my keychain password. I do not recognise any of the Apps wanting my keychain password and my computer keeps freezing all the time. I have attached two scree shots to illustrate what I mean. Is this an attempt to hack my passwords in my Keychain? How do I get rid of these annoying messages?

Hi,

In Applications/Utilities open the Keychain Access app

You will see it has at least the Login Keychain and the Local Items one.

When the computer is set up the Mac User Account that Logs in use a password and the Keychain normally uses the same password so that it is open (unlocked) so various apps can use it.

In later versions of the OS the Local Items Keychain gets called the iCloud Keychain.

I believe in Yosemite > System Preferences > iCloud you can set the iCloud Keychain to be used.

It might be using this password.
