iPhone 6S reboots while charging after iOS 9.3.2 update

Since updating to iOS 9.3.2 my iPhone 6S spontaneously reboots within a few minutes of plugging in for recharge. Level of existing charge does not appear to be a factor.

Anyone else having this problem?

Try a Forced Restart. Hold down the Home and Wake/Sleep buttons at the same time for about 15-20 seconds until the Apple logo appears. You will not lose anything.

If a forced restart does not help try a System Restore. First backup your device using iTunes. Also import your photos to your computer and copy all important data. Try restoring from backup first and testing it. If it does not help, you may have to restore as New and reconfigure from scratch as the backup could be corrupted. For this reason it is important to have your photos and data saved separately from the backup. Here are the steps for a Restore:

Thanks. Forced restart did not help. Difficult to see how it would be as (spontaneous) restarts are the problem.

System Restore sounds tedious: possibly more so than the unrequested restarts. As you suggest its likely the restored backup will have the same issue as it was made after the 9.3.2 upgrade.

This really shouldn't be happening. Maybe I'll just wait and see if the nest iOS upgrade clear the problem.
