Q: how do i approve apps on icloud family account

I set up a family iCloud account with my kids being under the family account.

The settings are so that I have to approve app purchases.

When they go to get an app it says they need approval but I never get any email or notification asking me to approve.

How do I make sure that I get a message and can approve the purchases?
