Q: How Many Subscribers Do I Have?

Hey there, I run a podcast for TorontoGameDevs.com - how can I tell how many subscribers I have? Or individual downloads?

    iTunes does not provide any tracking data. There are various ways of tracking downloads: server logs, or using a proxy such as FeedProxy in Feedburner which access your data via the proxy, which can then count the downloads (though this can cause problems). This Apple Help page offers some comments:

    However as to the actual number of subscribers, this isn't possible to determine since counting hits on the feed gets you nowhere - each subscriber will access the feed periodically to check for changes. The downloads of any one episode would be nearer the mark but can never be conmpletely accurate.
