iPod
My iTunes shows 4515 songs, I just sync'd my iPod, but it only shows 4367 songs. What is causing this discrepancy?

It could be that you have some unchecked tracks and have selected the option that unchecked tracks are excluded from syncing. iTunes cannot sync files that are not located where they are expected to be. Higher bit rate/depth (e.g. 96k/24bit) tracks cannot be synced, and if you have certain types of duplicates in the library only one instance is copied to the device.
