Q: Family Membership for Apple Music

I have purchased the family membership for Apple Music but I can't seem to be able to connect other family member, we are being asked for new card payment details on the other iPhone, I have just started the 3 months free trial so can only one person use this till the free trial is over.

    As this feature is meant to interplay with Apple's Family Share, you will want to have an active Family Share account with each user you intend to add to the Apple Music Family membership tethered to that.

     

    Set up Family Sharing - Apple Support

     

    It's of no additional cost, and comes with tones of benefits.

     

    After you have setup Family Sharing and everyone has joined the account with their own separate accounts...

     

    1. On your family member's device, make sure their account is signed in for both iCloud and iTunes in Settings > iCloud and Settings > iTunes & App Store.

     

    2. Open the Music app and tap "Already a member?" at the bottom of the Apple Music signup sheet (or tap the Account icon) and sign in with that family member's Apple ID. (their ID, not yours)

     

    3. You'll see the "Your family has joined Apple Music." screen and an option to enable iCloud Music Library.
