Q: should make a new network when i replace my existing router

I am changing my existing router to an Airport Time Capsule.  Should I make a new network name or can I just keep the existing one?

MacBook Pro, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)

If you were changing from another Apple router to the AirPort Time Capsule, you would be OK keeping the same wireless network name and password.

You might be OK if you are changing from a third party router to the AirPort Time Capsule, but the only way to really know if you will be OK, is try it out.  Worst case, you go back and set up a new name and password, and spend the next 30 minutes logging on to a "new" network with all of your wireless devices.
