May 23, 2016 9:53 PM in response to tayyabafromlahoreby tayyabafromlahore, have visited istores locally but they also disappointed saying there are bugs in new update and wait till apple releases the further update on this. Further called apple support number since couldn't find support email address but the representative couldn't satisfy my query. I am so disappointed, its not been month I bought iphone 6s and I had to face this. I am asking for last resort that hard reset it make my phone start up and function...is it that difficult for technicians here...they say update gets halt due to error 56...can anyone in this world help me with this problem. Thanks in advance.

Error 56 : Get help with iOS update and restore errors - Apple Support
Check for hardware issues
If you see error 53, learn what to do. If you see one of the errors below, you might have a hardware issue:
- 1, 3, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 16
- 20, 21, 23, 26, 27, 28, 29, 34, 35, 36, 37, 40, 56
- 1002, 1004, 1011, 1012, 1014, 1667 1669
Here's what to check:
- Make sure that you have the latest version of iTunes.
- Check for issues with third-party security software.
- Make sure that your USB cable, computer, and network are reliable. Then try twice more to restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod.
- If you still see the error message, you can check for outdated or modified software or contact Apple Support.
There have been reports of error 56 affecting iPad Pro 9.7 inch models, and an updated version of 9.3.2, or a new iOS version, being required - I haven't seen it mentioned in relation to iPhones, you may have a hardware issue with it

May 24, 2016 1:48 AM in response to King_Penguinby tayyabafromlahore,First of all thanks for your prompt reply. Well,I have tried these steps mentioned on the link provided by you. Had there been hardware issue then the software update would not have made it non functional. My phone was working fine before I initiated this update few days back. Even hard reset is not getting done neither by me nor by my local service centres. I don't know what is wrong with this iphone 6s. Do you have apple support email address??

May 24, 2016 2:00 AM in response to tayyabafromlahoreby tayyabafromlahore,it is not allowing factory reset even....will get to know whether it makes any difference or not once phone starts up its is just showing "itunes" icon and rest screen black...any idea does hardware issue resist factory reset and/or update being completed??

May 24, 2016 2:21 AM in response to tayyabafromlahoreby King_Penguin,As far as I can see there aren't any Apple stores in Pakistan, so you will need to use an authorised repairer
any idea does hardware issue resist factory reset and/or update being completed??
A factory reset won't suddenly fix any hardware issues that the phone has.

May 24, 2016 7:05 AM in response to tayyabafromlahoreby King_Penguin,Warranty isn't international, you are likely to have to return to Dubai
