Iphone 6 cannot wifi tethering for specific operator

Just from what you provide I can deduce that Bolt does not support tethering. You would have to check with them as razmee209 says to be sure. Only Bolt could answer your question.

With the Bolt SIM installed, tap on Settings>Cellular. Do you see an option to enable the Hotspot there? If you don't then I'd have to concur with Chris that they don't offer it.

Just because it worked on an Android doesn't mean it will work on an iPhone. There are different features that a carrier has to enable depending on the type of phone.

At a guess, I'd say that Bolt is not an official iPhone carrier and therefore the iPhone doesn't get properly configured. If that's the case, there's not much you can do.

Find your location using this Apple support document and you can find the supported carriers. If your carrier does not appear here, then they are not supported. The carrier would need to make contact with Apple to ensure they comply with all of the requirements for the iPhone and service before they would be added to the list. While the title states United States and Canada, the document itself actually contains information about other country's carriers as well. That would explain your inability to use tethering.

The only way for you to contact Apple is to use the Contact Us link at the bottom of the page. Your carrier should be the one contacting Apple to find out what they need to do in order to become a supported carrier.
