Headphone stopped.

Hello,

All of a sudden the headphone did not work anymore. I tried several other headphones who work on other equipment. Is this a matter of software or is it technical? Thanks, Hubert.

MacBook Air, Mac OS 9.2.x

Make sure you have the correct output device selected in System Preferences > Sound > Output.

Hi Carolyn. I went to System Preferences > Sound> Output. On Select device for sound output: There is only: Internal Speakers, apart from Balance and Volume. Nothing about headphones. Rgds,Hubert.

Hi Carolyn. I went to System Preferences > Sound> Output again and I plugged in headphones and YES the headphones came in and I could adjust Balance and Sound. Thanks for helping. Rgds,Hubert.
