Q: iPhone and iPad not able to connect to network at same time

Until recently I have been able to run multiple devices through my network, I have a time machine set up as my router and have set up the 2.4ghz and 5ghz as separate networks

recently I have been experiencing a problem which has never happened before, my iPad and iPhone are set to connect to the network whenever I come in to my house, but all of a sudden it appears that if one of them is picking up the wifi signal and connection, the other just gives me the spinning wheel in settings, it can see both networks but will not connect.  Even if I turn off the wifi on one of the devices the other still cannot pick up the wifi connection.

I have reset the Airport Base Station on numerous occasions and this does not resolve the issue

Take a look at this Apple Support article:

    https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204051

    Reset your network settings.

Settings - General - Reset - Reset Network Settings

Reset your device. This won't delete your data stored on the phone.

    • Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button
    • Press and hold on the Home button
    • Keep holding both buttons until the display turns off and back on with Apple logo on it.

Alternatively, you may go to Settings - General - Reset - Reset All Settings
