I have a USB microscope. The included software is for windows and leaves a lot to be desired. It works almost perfectly with Photo Booth and FaceTime except that the image needs to be flipped (not rotated). I need to flip the camera image NOT the resulting photo as I never take one. Is there any software/fix that will solve this problem?
Flipped left/right or flipped up/down?

The Mirror function in iGlasses' Zoom & Flip tab allows you to flip your camera image horizontally. For more info, see iGlasses FAQ.

You can flip the image left to right in PhotoBooth with the Edit ➙ Flip Photo menu option.
If you're using Photos you can import the photo into the Photos library and edit it in the Crop section. There's a flip option for either horizontal or vertical by holding down the Option key:
Then export the edited version to the Desktop.
Old Toad - please read my question again. I cannot flip the photo because I do not have a photo. I need to look at something, not take a picture of it.
EZ Jim - thanks for the link. I have tried it and it solves my problem, although i was hoping for a no-cost solution. Oh well!!!!
Opps. Like your microscope I got tunnel vision on this one. I'm not familiar with microscopes but is there an eyepiece that could flip the image?
