Scheduling Shutdowns - How to change length of or eliminate the countdown time?

I have been playing around with the scheduler functions in the OS.

When it makes the move to shutdown it initiates a long countdown sequence. Too long, and I was wondering if there was a way to change it or eliminate it yet still keep the same interface under the preferences panel?

Maybe a magic command line?

Cheers,

With the new SIP security feature these types of changes are more difficult. About System Integrity Protection on your Mac - Apple Support

I would recommend searching the AppStore for 3rd Party app idf you want more options for the shutdown timing sequence.

System Integrity Protection

This command can be run without root privileges and will tell you if SIP is on or off.

to learn if SIP is enabled or disabled, copy and paste in terminal:

csrutil status
