Q: How to stop @icloud AppleID from automatically switching to old @me Apple ID in iPad Pro

Hello all,

I just bought an iPad Pro and I am having issues accessing my books in iBooks. I realized that the iPad had my old Apple ID logged in in the iTunes and App Store settings. When trying to log out and back in with my new @icloud Apple ID, either directly in the settings, or via the iBooks app, the account automatically switches back to the old @me Apple ID, and I still can't access my books... I have no idea what is going on, and none of my other Apple devices has this issue... This is driving me crazy, and I already went through a complete reset of the device... Still can't figure out. Any help would be greatly appreciated...
