Q: Logic Pro X Transform/Transpose doesn't work

Logic Pro X Transform - Transpose only works "visually" the pitch does not change "audibly". The same applies to MIDI Transpose from the edit menus. Global transpose does work but this is not an option as I only need to transpose specific regions. anyone else experiencing this problem? I've written to support but so far no solution.

Logic Pro X, OS X El Capitan (10.11.5)

    transpose works fine in Logic.  Can you be more specific on how you are doing what...?

    1/ is it midi or audio?

    2/ how are you attempting to do the transpose ( region inspector, piano roll, ???)

     

    just be a little more specific in your objective and how you are trying to achieve it please.

    I'm transforming/ transposing MIDI notes in the piano roll. Selecting the region (notes) then FUNCTIONS/MIDI TRANSFORM/TRANSPOSITION /Select and operate


    The notes move up or down visually as they should, but the change is not reflected in the actual sound itself.

    Your right it shows it but it doesn't actually do it.

    Please fix this ASAP

    If you transpose directly in the piano roll - it will affect playback.

    If you are transposing in the region or track inspector (it only affects playback but not the midi notes) - you need to hit control N in order to make the notes play as per transposed rather than just on playback.
