Am I wrong? only the "fcp sounds effect" in the sound browser? I am sure there has been also another with all kind of music from very short to longer.
Where do I find this again?

CCan you post a screenshot of what you're seeing in the music and sound browser?
I miss the same map within it all kind of music-effects. I am sure there has always been two map from apple
and this is when I open the one there is: (but nothing about only melody-sound in it):
I Believe the jingles are part of the iLife sounds. There aren't any music tracks in the FCP sounds.
you are right.. but then they have seemed to disappeared after re-install OS. Do you know how to get them back?
They are usually found in /Library/Application Support/Audio/Apple Loops/Apple/iLife Sound Effects.
If you have Time Machine or some other back up utility you could restore that folder. Or you could reinstall from the iLife disk or download – however you obtained the apps.
