You'd have to ask your carrier. Likely, you would just keep the SIM you have and then enable data roaming if your carrier offers it, but they are the ones to talk to about that.
There is no such thing as an international sim card.
Sim cards are tied to the carrier and country they are bought in.
Your own carrier may offer a Roaming option so you can use your iPhone with your own sim card and number while in Spain for a modified rate from your regular plan. Contact them for details.
Alternatively if your iPhone is unlocked, you can buy a sim card from a local carrier in Spain, and use that. You will get a Spanish number, and as such calls and messages to your regular number will not be received while using a sim card from a local Spanish carrier.
