my whatsapp screen went blank on my iphone 6 ios 9.3.2

Here is the solution:

1) Close WhatsApp application

2) Go to settings -> WhatsApp -> uncheck all options

3) Now launch WhatsApp. You should get message asking you to enable notification. Close it and you can see it working!

Some option in the setting -> whatsapp is causing this problem. Disable accordingly and app will work fine. Hope this helps!

Re-Install the App: If the app keeps crashing when you launch it, you'd better remove it and re-download it from the App Store.

• Check Apps Update: Open App Store from your iPhone or iPad > Tap Updates > Check if the app needs update.
• Restart your iPhone or iPad: Hold down the Sleep/Wake button to power it off and turn it on.
• Close the app: Open Multitasking by double pressing the Home button > Swipe the non-response apps up to close it.

Hey i tried and its worked me first time launching my whatsapp. when i click chats icon it again goes blank screen 😟😟.

Now i uninstalled and reinstalled again, It seems works fine. i cleared all my old chats also.

this is really irritating am having this problem since i updated to the latest version of iOS

Do this...

Just keep pressing settings in Whatsapp app (since it is froze on chat tab)...

Then navigate to Whatsapp Web and scan the QR code on your web browser...

When you are logged in to Whatsapp Web, search for chat messages (on your web browser) with hyper long strings and delete the message.

100% working.

when i try to launch whatsapp, it goes white then bumps me out.

I have backup and when I reloaded, ITS STILL WHITE! 😟

Whatsapp wont even launch so i cant get to settings within whatsapp and the other suggestion to close all allowances in settings isnt working.

How do I delete the long string message if I can't even open the app?! 😢

I need the messages on whatsapp so I can't just delete and reinstall.

Please help!

It works but i cant open my Chat but its good to take backup of the messages then reinstall the app.
