Q: iphone6 plus won't connect to wifi unless i am right beside the router

My have my iphone 6 plus for about a year plus now, and right after the day my warrenty is over my phone just went nuts, there were vertical lines flashing on my screen and then my screen went unresponsive, everything was working fine except for the screen i couldn't tap on any apps, i couldn't slide to unlock but i could use my fingerprint but even so if i got in i couldn't tap on anything the screen does not respond to my touch at all. It started off freezing, and then a blackout when it finally came back on thats when the vertical lines start flashing on my screen i didn't understand what happen because i didn't do anything on my phone that day in fact, it was left untouched on my table until i ended school. My parents brought it to a phone repair store and the person said that it was not the LCD that has problems it was something inside which i don't even know what it is, the guy told me its because i dropped it or i have sat on it, i have never sat on my phone but i have the habit of falling asleep with my phone right beside me so he said the cause might be because i slept on my phone and bent the thing inside which is causing my screen to not respond. My parents paid $280 to get my phone fixed and when it came back the auto brightness toggle was missing my phone doesn't blackout when i receive calls and put it to my ear my camera also didn't work the selfie camera, whenever i try to use it, it would just freeze at the scene where the back camera is facing and then we sent it back for repair to the same person, which they delayed for 2 weeks until i got my phone within this two weeks the guy told my mom that the screen stopped working again, i just got my phone back yesterday auto brightness toggle is back and my selfie camera is working again but my phone still doesnt black out when i'm picking up  calls and putting it to my ear which is really annoying because my ear kept pressing on speaker mode BUT MY WIFI, My phone doesn't connect to my home wifi unless i am right beside the router if i move more than 5 inch away from it the wifi disconnects it is not my home wifi problem because i have a sister who uses an iphone 6s and its connected perfectly fine, i also can't detect any other wifi signals. whenever i turn on the wifi nothing shows up. i am so stressed now, because i don't know what to do can someone please give me a solution. I done everything i could find on this issue and even restoring the entire phone and setting it up as new iphone doesnt work.
