My whatsap app seems to freeze !! Why ?

Re-Install the App: If the app keeps crashing when you launch it, you'd better remove it and re-download it from the App Store.

• Check Apps Update: Open App Store from your iPad > Tap Updates > Check if the app needs update.
• Restart your iPad: Hold down the Sleep/Wake button to power it off and turn it on.
• Close the app: Open Multitasking by double pressing the Home button > Swipe the non-response apps up to close it.

Only works on iPhone .

Do this...

Just keep pressing settings in Whatsapp app (since it is froze on chat tab)...

Then navigate to Whatsapp Web and scan the QR code on your web browser...

When you are logged in to Whatsapp Web, search for chat messages (on your web browser) with hyper long strings and delete the message.

100% working.

Okay, this is a little weird... If you do a search in the App Store on your iPad for "WhatsApp," you find WhatsApp (icon says Messenger) and the developer is "Whats App." If you do a search for "Whats App" - TWO words - you get that listing PLUS one for WhatsPad Messenger by Gorilla Technologies. I installed them both. They are nearly identical. The main difference being, the one by Gorilla Technologies allows you to remove the ads! I hate ads! So one thing you might consider, since you're probably going to need to delete and reinstall the app anyway, download the one from Gorilla Technologies. It's been the more stable of the two for me.
