Q: Asus 68u and BTMM

I have a Asus ac68u router running 380_3264 and I would like to use BTMM.  My Mac Mini does appear under Finder and when I click on Share Screen, it will attempt to establish the connection but it will fail.  What ports to I have to open on the router to get BTMM to work?

I have tried 4488, TCP and that didn't work.  Yes, I have looked at the Apple document about TCP and UDP.  I am looking for a direct answer to which ports on this router do I have to enable to get BTMM to work.  Yes, I am signed in to iCloud.  I did have this working before on a Linksys router.

Mac mini, OS X Yosemite (10.10.5)

I assume that you are trying to access your Mac mini from outside your own network. You may find this article interesting -> TCP and UDP ports used by Apple software products - Apple Support

If you are on the same network, you shouldn't need to open any ports.

Yes, I am talking about accessing my Mac from outside my home network.  It works fine inside my network. I was able to use BTMM when I was using a Linksys router automatically without doing anything to port forwarding.  Now, I have moved to a Asus router, I have to manually enter the numbers to get BTMM to fully work.  Again, I can see my Mac in Finder but it will not let me connect to it which I think I have to manually add the numbers and trying to figure out which numbers to use and which not to use.  There is a lot of numbers in that article. Nothing has changed other than the routers.  I am signed into iCloud.

It would save me a lot of time, if someone knows already which numbers that I should be using with a Asus router and it works.

If you search that article for the word "Back" you will clearly see the ports used by "Back To My Mac".

And the entry "Back" appears 7 times in the article.  I am not going to add/subtract each port 7 times until I find the one that works.  I thought someone would know already which ports do I use to get BTMM to work on a Asus router. I must be the only one using a Mac with an Asus router.

I believe that you need to open all of those ports. If I were you I would have already tried opening all 7 ports yesterday when the article was posted.
