Since you have nothing to lose, refer to this article:
Change the language that you see in iTunes - Apple Support
and just try different menu choices. (From the above, I would start with the 5th selection since that is in parentheses. Maybe it will switch to a language that you are more familiar with and you can keep trying.)
BTW, what version of iTunes are you using? Knowing that might help.

so I clicked something which turned out to be French and then found Anglais (English)
Hadn't thought of that lol
