Can't enable Safari to connect to location services

Hi,

I rarely used to pop into Security pan of Sysprefs but when I did I always saw Safari in the list window of apps that were allowed to use location services on my Mac. I updated to Safari 6 from Safari 5 two months ago so I even couldn't tell on what version I was when I used to see Safari in the list - previous or the current one. Anyways, that's what I see now - nothing, no apps at all:

My question is how do I allow Safari to use Location Services?

OS X version and hardware are as indicated below.

Mac OS X (10.7.5), MacBook Pro 15.4 mid-2012

I posted a screenshot of my own Privacy pane of System Preferences which bears witness that Location Services was meant to function within Lion (otherwise these elements wouldn't even exist, would they?). Second, you missed what I said. I saw Safari in that list of apps with granted access to Location Services, so how can you say it's not compatible while it clearly is is well beyond me.

In this screenshot you see the legend Allow the apps below to determine your location so the question remains: how do I accomplish this?

Thanks.
