Logitech k750 wireless keyboard has stopped working with my macbook

My logitech k750 wireless solar keyboard has stopped working after a year with my Macbook Pro (OS X EL Captian, 10.11.5) The keyboard works fine when I connect to Windows Desktop computer. This keyboard connects via a usb Unifying receiver. I have tried to reload the Unifying receivers software and I keep getting a virus warning and I cannot download the software. I updated my system after the keyboard fail.

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X El Capitan (10.11.5)

that's got to be annoying...go to support.logitech.com/en_ca/home and get a copy of the unifying software and logitech control centre stuff as well... I don't know why you're getting a virus warning. Are you trying to download on a Windows computer, or on your MacBook Pro? you may have picked up some adware along the way. I've used Adware medic to take care of that little problem...if it's a Bluetooth keyboard, you may have to go into Bluetooth preferences and delete the keyboard, then take the batteries out of it/turn it off, wait about 30 seconds, then turn it on and try to re-pair it with your MacBook Pro...

good luck, and let us know how it turns out
