May 25, 2016 6:33 PM in response to Alyssa_Evnglstaby Skydiver119,You can try to force it to reboot, but I'm thinking your iPad's battery has died. they do have a finite life span and number of charges/discharges.
You can try the reboot, it won't hurt anything. Hold down the sleep and home keys for about 20 seconds. When you see the silver apple, let go and let it restart and see if it helps. If not, then make an appointment at your local apple store or authorized service provider and have them check it out. Unless your device is still under warranty a battery replacement runs about $100 US.
