Q: Having difficulty submitting my podcast to iTunes

Hello.

Using feedburner, I created this link to try to submit my podcast to iTunes' podcast directory: http://feeds.feedburner.com/RandomChatterings-LatestEpisodes

I have been submitting my audio files to the Internet Archive since I can't afford to host audio files via other sites. I have been hosting those files on randomchatterings.weebly.com since September of 2015.

I thought there was an issue with the album art cover but, more recently, when I tried submitting it to the podcast directory, the error that showed up was "Can’t download episodes from your feed."

Admittedly, I don't know much about how to correctly submit podcasts to iTunes and have been struggling with this for several months.

Any type of help would be appreciated!

The Store checks only the top episode on your feed, Yours does not have a media file, though some of the others do, hence the problem. You should either add a media file or remove the top episode. In general it's not a good idea to mix episodes with and without media files. The ones without won't show in iTunes anyway.

Oh, I see now! That makes sense! Thank you!

I have a few more questions if that's okay.

Using some advice from other sites, I created another RSS feed which has been approved for iTunes. The only problem so far is that when someone subscribes to the podcast, they can only see 25 of the 49 episodes I have uploaded so far. This confused me since I've seen other podcasts that have 50 or 100 episodes in their feed.

    Here's the RSS feed: http://feeds.feedburner.com/RandomChatterings

And here's the link to the iTunes store: https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/random-chatterings/id1117688033

There are only 25 episodes in the feed and these show both in the Store and when subscribing. You've created the feed in Blogger, where there are indeed 49 episodes, so it would appear that, in common with many podcast creation services, Blogger is limiting the number of posts in the feed - in this case to 25. There is usually a setting somewhere to increase this. The Store does not limit the number of episodes until you reach 301.
