I really need help

Today my Ipod charger broke. I know this because i checked it on different adapters and different devices. The worst part is that i have only had it for two to three months. It doesnt look like there is a problem but there is and i have not been rough on it. Would apple send me a new on or should i just go out a buy a new one?
