Q: Acura TL and iPhone 5s Bluetooth disconnected

My 2005 Acura TL, after numerous phone changes and IOS upgrades, is suddenly unable to detect my iPhone 5s (IOS 9.3.2). Acutally, that's nto quite true. It has occasionally and randomly rediscovered the device a couple of times ... but only for short periods.

When I try to re-pair the phone from the car, it says "no devices found".

When I try to connect from the phone to the car, the phone says the device is either turned off or out of range.

How can I tell if the problem is with my phone or my car? Has anyone else experienced this problem and solved it?

I understand that you are having an issues with pairing your iPhone with your car. Let's see if we can isolate the issue and get it resolved.

I would take a look at the article below to go over troubleshooting when you are having issues making a connection with your car. It will have your toggle off and on Bluetooth as well as possible looking for any firmware updates for your car.
