Q: I-Phone SE Touch id (OR) (+) Pass code?

I am eagerly awaiting the delivery of my new I-Phone SE today. I heard that they have the option to unlock the phone using the standard pass code OR your touch i.d (finger print) is it possible to use both?

If so does Apple plan to implement the option to unlock your phone using both a pass code and touch i.d in future iOS versions?

I think this would be a great feature given the recent scandals of iPhone hacking and of course Apple always likes to sing about how secure there devices are.

What do you say Apple?

    What do you say Apple?

Using touch id - Use Touch ID on iPhone and iPad - Apple Support

in order to use touch id, you will need to set up a 4 or 6 digit passcode.  Once that is done, you can use either your touch id or enter passcode to unlock your phone.

    What scandals? What iPhone hacking?

Lastly there is no Apple here in this user to user technical forum.

Thanks for your reply, but I think you have miss-understood what I am asking. When my phone screen is locked, I want to be able to use BOTH the touch i.d and pass code AT THE SAME TIME to unlock it. Two security measures are better than one right? and especially if they are both available why can they not be implemented together at the same time? I don't have the phone yet so I'm asking if this is possible.

What scandals? What iPhone hacking?.....seriously?! have you had your head in the sandbox for the last 6 months?

Lastly...of course I know this is a user forum but I would assume someone from Apple checks these things to see how their customers are getting on and also possibly look out for suggestions/improvements. Perhaps I should send an email suggestion to: pleasesendyoursuggestionshereandbeappledevelopersforfree@apple.icloud.iphone.com?

No you don't use both that is redundant.  You either use your passcode or touch id.

you can let apple know here http://www.apple.com/feedback/  your opinion.

IF you knew this was a user to user forum then why would you ask about Apple, no there is no Apple that check their customers, they are moderators here.

If you're talking about the FBI bs that isn't much of a scandal or hacking.
