Q: iTunes / iPhone restore error help (3194)
Hello, I've forgotten my iPhone 4S's password since I haven't used it for a long time. I am now in such need to use it and the only way to recover it is to restore it. I've connected it to iTunes and everything has been done, but after it extracts the software, it says "Restoring iPhone" for a few seconds and then gives me the error 3194. I've looked at my host files, everything seems good, there's nothing related to the Apple Software Update servers at all. I've also looked at Windows Firewall, and iTunes was checked on Public and Private networks. After that, I've updated iTunes to the latest software because it was suggested to on the Apple Support page. Now, I have to re-install a whole new update and restore it again. I haven't done that yet, but I'd like to know some reasons to why this is happening and the solutions to how can I fix the issues. I was feeling so excited to finally have my iPhone back after 3 hours of downloading the software update but I was rather disappointed by the error that broke everything. If this issue continues to occur, ill make sure to reply and update this thread as soon as possible for more help, hopefully, from the experts.
