Q: Battery swolen
In Aug 2010 I bought a MBP which I used regulary. Beginning of this year I noticed that the mousepad rose and this, according to a reseller inspecting the device, was caused by swelling of the battery. When I applied for repair and replacement of the battery, I was told that the model was vintage and that no replacement can be provided. The MBP is therefore, just scrap.
I can't imagine that a brand like Apple isn't capable of providing after-sales service for less than 6 years. Any experiences or tips?
