Audio Storage Question

In storage it shows that I have 100GB of music on my computer. However in Itunes (where all the music that I'm aware I have is) it shows only 40GB of music. How do I find where these other music files (that I never even realised I had) are? Is there an easy way to clean them up?

If your source of information is the display in 'About This Mac', be advised that there is a bug in the program that generates the display. Usually, but not always, a reindex of spotlight will correct the display:

You might also download from the Internet OmniDiskSweeper and Grand Perspective (both free) and open them. They will show all of your files and the respective sizes. Transfer to an external HDD the files you do not want on your Mac or delete them. Do not forget to empty trash. Only then is space allocated for additional data.
