I am trying to buy a movie and when I sign in I receiI've the veification code but every time I put it into my Apple TV it kicks back to the sign in screen. What do I do?
Hi. If you have Apple TV 1 (silver box), your only option is to disable 2-factor authentication. If you have Apple TV 2 or 3 (black box, silver remote), this Re: appleTV keeps asking for appleID, password and authentication code circularly post describes the technique. Timing is critical.
Temporarily disable 2-step or 2-factor verification. You are not the only one with this problem.
Are you using 2-step (4 digits) or 2-factor (6 digits)?

I'm having the same issue. The code will work on one device but not the other. Pretty lousy implementation. Any word on whether it is a known issue?
You should be able to append the code to your password and enter that (i.e. if your password is ABC and your code is 123, enter ABC123).

This is happening to us as well. Nothing works. This is a pretty annoying feature. Can't watch anything on Apple TV. Nothing helps to fix this issue
