Q: Macbook will not start up after failing the Windows 8.1 installation
So today I decided to install Windows 8.1 once and for all. I was able to make progress and made it through the boot camp section. After that the computer restarted and opened as Windows 8.1, I chose the partition called BOOTCAMP and Windows started installing normally. It had a very thin green bar at the bottom of the screen showing the progress of the installation. However at around 60% a window showed and said something like: "impossible to continue the installation" or something. After that the computer automatically shut down by itself. I wish I could see the exact words again but the whole computer now will not start up. It turns on and there is the usual mac apple sound when it does, but once the screen lights up all white, after a few seconds it shuts down again.
I tried some key combinations such as command+s but to avail. All the previous downloads were done legally so no real risk of viruses, I bought the Windows DVD installation and made the ISO thingy as required, followed the different steps of boot camp assistant and all. Now I'm completely stuck and unable to utilize the macbook in any way. I wrote this on my phone. Any help would be really appreciated.
