May 26, 2016 5:59 PM in response to MTFQby MTFQ,Thank you Tom for responding faster than the speed of light. I also fixed it by going into the composting pile, and then videoscopes by individual color.
May I ask you another question, seeing that you are on? The video project am working on - the opening montage gets to about 1:11 mark and then all **** goes loose, video judders, drops frames, etc. I detached audio on all clips, but no change. When I add the music I edited on Garageband, which I made several versions, AIFF, uncompressed, mp3, etc., no matter which one I add, when it gets to 1:11 mark, it's like the apocalypse.
So - I removed the music and saved as movie file, and when I watched it, all was well, no video issues. I heard about avoiding this issue by creating new project and saving it in the new project, but this is a large project and the hard drive is nigh to bursting - and then when I did a 'delete generated ' I noticed I have about 5 movie libraries and how the heck did they reproduce like tribbles I have no idea....
I have searched the online Final Cut Pro X manual, watched lots of YouTube videos, etc., and consumed massive pints of ice cream...to no avail...
Help me Obi Wan, please....

May 26, 2016 6:02 PM in response to MTFQby Tom Wolsky,TThe nigh to bursting is most likely the cause of the problems. Dropped frames are usually drive problems, not fast enough, too full. Usual recommendation is to keep at least 10% of the drve free.
