Camera Roll photos not in order - Random Sorting
I'm using an iPhone 5S - iOS 8.1.3

I recently had an issue where all my photos went "missing" from the "Camera Roll" section of my iPhone 5S. I didn't upgrade iOS, I was just in the middle of scrolling through lots of pictures really fast and it crashed.
So, eventually after a whole day of attempting things I got all the photos to appear again in my Camera Roll. They were never deleted in the first place, they just didn't want to show themselves and when accessing Camera Roll the iPhone would simply say "Restoring" at the end of the screen and they would start to load up again within Camera Roll, but would continuously crash until I freed up more space on the phone and eventually it fixed itself.
The only problem is that, although all of the photos seem to be back again, they're all jumbled up randomly in Camera Roll.
But...on the bottom left button - "Photos" all of my photos are all in order in that section, where it shows the Years/Months/Dates. I restarted the phone a few times but that doesn't work.
Also, worth noting is that any recent pictures I've taken are all in order in Camera Roll, since this random sorting issue has occurred.
Finally, if I use Whatsapp to upload a picture they are all in correct order that way.
From reading other forums regarding this issue, all of the above seems to match so this isn't an isolated issue.
What I can't find is a fix for the Camera Roll random sorting issue.
Does anyone know of a fix out there for this Camera Roll random sorting issue please? Seems to be wrecking a lot of heads!
