May 27, 2016 9:02 AM in response to gibbytace65by Tesserax,At this point in time, is the Time Capsule still loaded with an earlier version of firmware or is it still at 7.7.7? Regardless, I would suggest that you perform a "factory default" reset on each of the affected AirPort Express base stations to get them back to their "out-of-the-box" configurations.
Depending on your answer for the first question, we can proceed from there.

May 28, 2016 7:07 AM in response to gibbytace65by gibbytace65,I have 7.7.7 but can revert. I am going to try to reset the express's and then add them to the network. If that doesn't work I will set the Extreme back to the previous firmware.

May 28, 2016 7:23 AM in response to Tesseraxby gibbytace65,I resolved the problem by factory reset of all Airport Express stations I have. Added them back to the network and updated their firmware. My two express and one extreme time capsule are all fully functionining now. Thanks for the support.

Jul 4, 2016 9:50 AM in response to Tesseraxby goet36,almost the same here after updating to latest firmware my airport express stopped working. Though my time capsule works just fine. I tried hard resetting it but it's dead only the orange led works and every minute blinks green once. (It also doesn't appear in airport utility )

Unfortunately, you are probably correct about the AirPort Express being "dead". A solid amber light....with an occasional green blink.....is almost always an indication that the AirPort Express has a power supply problem that will not allow it to get out of start up mode. Basically, the power supply is heading downhill quickly.
Suggest that you try a factory default reset as a last resort to see if the AirPort Express might respond. If you decide to do this......
Power off the AirPort Express for a few minutes
Hold in the reset button first, and then keep holding the reset button in for an additional 5 to 6 seconds while you simultaneously power the Express back up
Release the reset button after the hold period, and allow a full minute for the AirPort Express to restart
You want to see a slow, blinking amber light on the Express at this point, which indicates that the device has been reset successfully and can now be reconfigured again.
If you continue to see a solid amber light....with an occasional green blink.....after few tries, the power supply inside the Express is failing and the Express will need to be replaced.

You are correct.
And unfortunately, none of the Apple support articles that appreciate has linked above provide any information about a situation where the amber light.....(which normally remains solid for only 15-20 seconds during startup and then switches to another mode)......instead stays on constant solid amber, or stays solid amber with an occasional green blink.
