Q: Setting Local User Library - best practice? AD / OD / SAN

Morning all,

we have a new SAN, and its slow.  Looking at redirecting our user Libraries locally to help with performance and stability.

At the moment we have a few folders (caches, iMovie,  some Chrome stuff and Adobe folders) that are redirected locally via profile managers "custom" tab using redirector for symlinks.  Works a treat.

My question is - how much of the library can I redirect locally?  Where does Profile Manager store the users Profile settings per user?  Does anyone have experience with "Mobile Homes"?  (The OSX Mobile Homes, not camper vans...)

Thoughts and suggestions much appreciated.

Also... I work in a High School, so Keychain is a big problem for us.  We set Keychain to delete on logout and also a nightly estate-wide keychain deletion which gets things working nicely for us.  I wouldn't be re-directing that locally as I need the control over that folder.
