Q: my macbook pro wont charge and the issue is not the magsafe cord itself
My macbook pro late 2011 13-inch wont charge, my original magsafe cord's head broke (the part of the magnet broke but the connectors that would charge didnt) i thought it was ok if i just aligned the connectors of the magsafe and the receivers on my computer and taped the magsafe to the laptop so it would charge BAD IDEA but while i was trying to do that i saw a spark on my port and i suspect that that was when the issue started, afterwards i tried my sisters cable that worked on her computer but it didnt work on mine, i tried different outlets, shaking, but nothing came up i tried using a different cable but it didnt work, needless to say the both my cable and the second cable work if i tried them on my sisters mac so i'm pretty sure that the problem is from my mac itself. I tried resetting the SMC but it didnt work.
MacBook Pro, OS X Yosemite (10.10.5)

Try to run an Apple Hardware Test:
https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201257
Note that an error free AHT is not conclusive.
You may have a damaged DC input board.
Ciao.
