Q: my macbook name was changed from Dallasscomputer to dallasscomoputer (2) without my knowledge, has this happened to anyone, and how could it have happened?

Hi, I have a 2008 Macbook, running Mac OS x 10.7.5, and I have a 2.1 GHZ intel core 2 duo, with 2 GB DDR2SDRAM, and yesterday I woke the computer up from sleep and had a message that said - "your computer Dallasscomputer is being used by someone, so this computer's name has changed to Dallascomputer (2). So I checked user processes and found one unknown user, and shut down the process, but I did not have the guest login privileges switched on, so I do not know how anyone could have logged in. I quickly changed my admin password, and looked at my firewall settings, I changed some of the settings like blocking remote login, blocking scanner login, blocking dtv login, and some other things that I thought could have allowed someone past my firewall.

Any way, I am not sure someone got past the firewall or got logged in, but my computer said someone was using it, and the name had changed to Dallasscomputer (2) from Dallasscomputer. Has this happened to anyone, or does anyone know what might have happened. My password was very strong, and no one had access to it, and my internet goes through my timemachine which is also very secure and has a strong password?

Can anyone help me with this?

Thanks,

Steve
