Q: What duckhead should I order for a Macbook wall adapter?
I'm in Europe and broke the duckhead on my Macbook (2008) wall adapter. I want to order one from Apple or Amazon to have ready when I return to the USA next week but I'm not sure whether all Mac adapter duckheads are alike. For instance, I found several Apple-made duckheads online but for the Macbook Air, and I don't know if they'll work with my adapter. Is there an Apple part number or any other way to identify the right product? Any help will be appreciated!

There are several power adapters, cords, etc for portable Mac computers here:
• Find the right power adapter and cord for your Mac notebook - Apple Support
Some locations may have the duckhead plug section of the power adapter; different
ones for various locations and regions exist. The US and Canada use the same.
Any authorized Apple reseller or service provider may have or could get these.
Thought I had a link in EU for OWC related products, but the one I had does not
appear to sell the MagSafe adapter, replacement cable, or duckhead. The OWC
macsales.com in US has some. You may end up locating a second power adapter
however the best prices may involve checking to see if a local business has or can
get the same item you need, near the internet price (considering duty, shipping, etc)
