Q: airport time capsule error -6722 while updating 7.7.7 firmware

I am trying to update my 3TB Time Capsule with the latest 7.7.7 firmware and it keeps error out, not allowing me to update it.  I have disconnected my airport express and airport base stations, (I was able to update those without an issue) which extended my network, in hopes that would remedy the issue.  It didn't.  Thanks.

    Try doing the update from iOS version of the airport utility.. it is often more successful.

     

    If you keep having issues.. reset the TC to factory and plug it into the main modem/router with minimal setup.. for this double NAT is fine.

     

    Once it is updated you can return to its normal role.
