Can The 2016 Macbook Handle Minecraft

Hello Everyone,

I currently have a 13 inch, 2012 Macbook Pro with the following specs

Processor: 2.5 GHz Intel Core i5

Memory: 4 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

Graphics: Intel HD Graphics 4000 1536 MB

Disk Speed:

57 MB/S Write

64 MB/S Read

I have double checked the read/write speeds many times, but they are accurate. I like playing Minecraft with all the max video settings. I put the rendering distance to the max, fancy graphics, and usually use a texture pack. Sometimes I also used a hacked client which works well with it to. I get roughly 20-25 FPS, and I am very happy with this. Would the 2016, 1.3 GHZ Macbook be able to do these tasks? I am not a full time gamer at all. I only enjoy it now and then. 15-20 FPS are also plenty fine for me.

Thanks!

Go the the Apple Store at a not too busy time, and ask an associate to help you install it and use it on the Mac you are considering.

That is what all those Macs are there for -- sitting out on the tables, running MacOS.

When you are done, they power that Mac off and a clean copy of Mac OS loads from a Server in the back. Then whatever you installed is gone. They are not worried about what you want to Install.

There is also a 14-day return or exchange policy -- WHEN YOU BUY DIRECT FROM APPLE. You don't like it, give it back to them for a refund with 14 days of receipt.
