Safari - Can I open more than one browser window?

I have a powerbook G4 with safari (which version I'm using I do not know). My question is: Is it possible to open more than one browser/internet window at a time (like you can in Windows)? If so, how do I do that? Thank you.

PowerBook G4, Mac OS X (10.4.8)

Hi,

Sure, press command+n (the command key is the one with the apple symbol on it) or go to the File menu at the top of the screen and select 'New Window'

If you want to use tabs, go into Safaris preferences and activate tabbed browsing to allow the viewing of several sites within one window. command+t will then create a new tab in the current window once it's activated.

Edit: ChristopherJim beat me to the punch 😉

You can determine the version of Safari by going to the Safari Menu and selecting "About Safari". Since you are using 10.4.8, Safari's version would be 2.0.4 (419.3). Same regarding the OS. Go to the Apple Menu and select "About this Mac".

To understand more about Safari's capabilities, go to Safari's Help Menu and select "Safari Help".
