Q: New iTunes won't let me add release of pdf.

Why can't I add a release date for my pdf's downloaded?

If you're on a Mac, try exciting the tags in the iBooks app, not in iTunes.
If the file is locked or password protected, you will not be able to edit it.

I don't know how the wrong system got typed but any it's the new ios9.3.2. and the iPad isn't connected to the computer and it still won't work!
