lost all contacts upgrading to ios 9.3.2 over 2000 contact

I have a iphone 5s. While traveling I experienced a software cliché, white screen, black apple. While working on the issue I opened my icloud on my lap to

however my pass word was on my phone, which was not working. I did not want to change my pass word, I guess a few times got really close, but was locked

out. So all other apple instructions failed to fix the issue, the last resort was to up grade the operating system. I plugged my phone into my lap top which was

not a trusted PC to the iphone, which may not matter. Downloaded the ios 9.3.2 to my phone an it works my phone was out of the software loop.

But my contacts where gone. So I went back on line a notice numerous customers with this issue. Solution icloud, that is where my contacts are.

So now I have my icloud password. Open i cloud and is would not let my put in my password, it took my to reset my password. So I did. Once the new

password was set I opened icloud to find absolutely nothing on my i cloud account. Which I know is not right almost all 5 megs where the contacts.

These contact are how I make my living. I need help.
